Background

I have been actively engaged in the blockchain industry since 2015, transitioning to a full-time role in 2017 at a quantitative trading firm specializing in digital assets. My primary interests lie in applied cryptography and its potential to enhance privacy and drive the adoption of blockchain technology.

Prior to my involvement in the blockchain space, I was in the tradFi (traditional finance) space. My most recent role was as the Lead Quantitative Developer and Chief Technology Officer (CTO) at a quantitative hedge fund. I hold a degree in Computer Engineering and have earned both the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and Certified Financial Risk Manager (FRM) designations.

I’m spending my time on:

Current

  • yAcademy - resident at the ZK auditing yAcademy DAO
  • Verifier Validation Registry - proposal to allow users to quickly check the validity of zero-knowledge proof (ZKP) verifiers (funded by yAcademy)
  • ProgCryptoSG - organizing technical meetups in Singapore about programmable cryptography
